Music Therapy

Music therapy can be used to help people achieve their therapeutic goals, improve communication, reduce stress, anxiety and increase feelings of relaxation and wellbeing.

We feel music is a very powerful way to bring together people of all ages who are  living with stroke, dementia and other neurological challenges.   We have music at the Centre all day, every day – whether it is to encourage engagement in exercise sessions, 1-1 or group therapy sessions with Ann our music therapist or playing M4D dementia radio for reminiscence. In addition we have live entertainment 4 days a week to encourage singing, dancing and just having a wonderful time in the company of friends.
